Are you and your staff tired of spending so much time processing insurance claims& tracking down pieces of paper when you would rather be taking care of athletes?
Trustway T.E.A.M. Services in our mission of "Improving the Day to Day" is offering a new service that will drastically diminish your time associated with processing insurance claims for your student athletes. We will work with your insurance company / claims administrator to provide all the necessary documents for them to process your claims. We accomplish this by working with your providers, student athletes and parents if need be to track down the necessary paperwork to process the claim. Obviously the school would still need to complete the claim form but we handle it from there. Note: you do not need to switch your insurance to Trustway TEAM in order to take advantage of this service.
How Does It Work?
► Trustway TEAM, School and Insurance Company / TPA create an agreement that enables all parties to work together.
►Trustway TEAM works to establish communication pipelines with school's providers which once an injury occurs will have the provider send the itemized bills and EOBs to your Trustway TEAM Claims Advocate.
► Following injury, school completes claim form and sends to single individual at Trustway TEAM (Your claims advocate)
►Trustway TEAM works with the insurance company and providers to process claims
►Trustway TEAM provides monthly reports to the school as to any missing paperwork needed from providers or school (namely, claim forms)
►Trustway TEAM also works with insurance company to provide paid reports to the school. Reports will vary based on the insurance company.
►Insurance company / TPA will benefit due to the fact that all claims received through the claims advocate service will be complete and ready to pay. No missing information as Trustway TEAM has made sure all the correct information is made available.
Cost?
►Cost is as little as 2-4% of annual premium
►Schools aren't adding athletic training staff members, responsibilities aren't increasing and thus this is a way reduce hours that ATCs spend with insurance for as little as $2,500 and in most cases $5,000.
►Trustway TEAM will only be offering this service to 20 schools for the 2011-12 year.
